  inspections of play areas. The training would consist of a 4 hour session
  delivered with a combination of practical and theory elements. The purpos
 e of the course would be to train candidates to undertake the Routine Insp
 ection of fixed playground equipment at their sites and effectively record
 /report any issues identified. The syllabus would broadly cover the main e
 lements of the RPII Routine Inspector Course but would focus primarily on 
 the practical inspection of the playground equipment with only an brief in
 troduction to the other aspects covered in the full course.
