 embers a practical walk-through of the Digital Annual Governance and Accou
 ntability Return (AGAR). The session will be delivered by Lance Allen\, Us
 er Acceptance & Testing Project Manager at Smaller Authorities’ Audit Ap
 pointments (SAAA). Lance will guide members through the digital AGAR proce
 ss\, demonstrating how to use the form and helping councils understand wha
 t to expect when completing and submitting their AGAR electronically. Elec
 tronic submission will be optional for the 2026/27 AGAR\, but will become 
 a requirement in subsequent years. This session provides an ideal opportun
 ity for councils to familiarise themselves with the new process ahead of t
 he change. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and raise an
 y concerns about the move to digital submission. This session will be part
 icularly useful for clerks\, Responsible Financial Officers and anyone inv
 olved in preparing or completing their council's AGAR.
