Electronic Meetings’ Summons To Become Lawful in England On 30th January

The Local Government (Electronic Communications) (England) Order 2015 will come into effect on 30th January 2015, thereby enabling the use of electronic communications in the sending of summonses to members of Parish Councils in England to Parish Council meetings.

Fit For Work

Fit For Work Begins

From December 2014 Councils, Employees and GP's have been able to access the new Fit for Work Occupational Health Assessment Service.

The initiative is being rolled out on a region by region basis and is expected to cover the whole of the UK by May 2015.

Transparency Code for smaller authorities (£25k or less)

Government have now published the Transparency Code for smaller authorities, which can be found online using the link below:
