Further acclaim for Hatton PC at DALC award ceremony...

A year after being named Derbyshire Council of the Year, Hatton PC has continued its run of success by winning Clerk of the Year.

Jacqui Storer, who also helped her council achieve the shortlist of the national Star Council awards, was awarded the Blachere Illlumination Clerk of the Year prize at DALC's AGM at Pride Park, Derby.

Judges noted Jacqui's professionalism, in particular her care for the physical and mental needs of the community during the pandemic. As her nominee said: "Under Jacqui's stewardship we continue to surprise ourselves at what can be achieved by a small Derbyshire community."

In the same category, Longford PC's Mick Tunnicliffe and Whitwell PC's Norma Woolley were highly commended.
