Our next forums will be held on 8th December.
At 1pm we will have the clerks' forum (with a Christmas theme - seasonal hats, jumpers etc and mince pies are actively encouraged!).
At 2.30pm we will have our re-scheduled Police liaison forum with Superintendent Jed Keen, open to chairs, clerks and other councillors. Christmas theme also encouraged!

NOW in their 3rd year, DALC's Excellence Awards are now open for entries.
Celebrating the outstanding work done across Derbyshire by our parish and town councils, there are three categories: Council of the Year, Clerk of the Year and Councillor of the Year.

Many local councils were planning to get involved in national events and celebrations such as Great British Spring Clean and VE Day 75, these have been postponed. The national commemorations to mark VE Day 75 on 8 May are being scaled back and the government is working on new plans to ensure the nation can still thank the Second World War generation on VE Day in May and provide the fitting tribute... 'CONGRATULATIONS!' to the winners of our 2nd annual Excellence Awards, presented at yesterday's AGM in Chesterfield.
Overall winner of the BHIB Council of the Year award is Charlesworth Parish Council (pictured), with the Councillor of the Year going to Olwen Wilson of Middleton-by-Wirksworth.
Winner of the Blachere Illumination Clerk of the Year is Phillip Woodward of Pilsley Parish Council.

THE County's leading clerk, councillor and council received DALC Excellence Awards at a ceremony in Derby today.
