Forum:Digital AGAR – Practical Walk-Through

 DALC is pleased to offer members a practical walk-through of the Digital Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR).

The session will be delivered by Lance Allen, User Acceptance & Testing Project Manager at Smaller Authorities’ Audit Appointments (SAAA).

Lance will guide members through the digital AGAR process, demonstrating how to use the form and helping councils understand what to expect when completing and submitting their AGAR electronically.

Electronic submission will be optional for the 2026/27 AGAR, but will become a requirement in subsequent years. This session provides an ideal opportunity for councils to familiarise themselves with the new process ahead of the change.

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and raise any concerns about the move to digital submission.

This session will be particularly useful for clerks, Responsible Financial Officers and anyone involved in preparing or completing their council's AGAR.
